In order to receive support from EHR Live you must either have a support contract or plan to pay for support. The OpenEMR source code is free to download and the software package is sold at a minimal price. Charging for support and hosting is how we make a living and continue to enhance the software. Seeing as how practices who implement OpenEMR save thousands of dollars in software licensing fee's; paying for support from us only seems fair. If you support the project, have found value, and/or saved money by using OpenEMR then help support the future of OpenEMR by paying for support from us instead of your local IT guru who wouldn't have a full understanding of the software like we do. In order to streamline support requests and better serve you, we utilize a support ticketing system. Every support request is assigned a unique ticket number which you can use to track the progress and responses online. For your reference we provide complete archives and history of all your support requests.
